Personality: Charmcaster is a very willful teenage girl. She hates being suppressed and told what to do, as she believes in a very hedonistic lifestyle in which she does whatever she wants. As such, Charmcaster is not good with dealing with authority figures, showing them nothing but blatant disrespect. Whatever rules are set before her, Charmcaster will rebel against them without a second thought. She also isn't one to care much about social graces, always preferring to speak her mind very bluntly, no matter whose feelings might get hurt.
Charmcaster is also highly intelligent and shrewd. An accomplished trickster; she prefers to scheme and manipulate others with her magic rather than relying on direct attacks. As she is a very ambitious person, Charmcaster uses her wits to obtain greater power or status. Her conscience is of little consequence to her, and she in fact often finds glee in doing what society deems wrong and getting ahead in life at the expense of others. This stems from her being brought up as an outcast to society, creating within her a bitter resentment toward normal people. Charmcaster has learned to compensate for feelings of inferiority through taking great pride in all her achievements and magical prowess, showing them off whenever she can and generally displaying a bit of an ego. Failing to feed this ego always leaves Charmcaster angry and frustrated, so she always strives to succeed in whatever she does.
Although Charmcaster takes her ambitions seriously, she also values having a sense of humor about herself. This sense of humor is very often wry and sarcastic, usually directed at others in an insulting or teasing manner. She also greatly enjoys a challenge, particularly against her rival Gwen Tennyson, as it pushes her to work harder at acquiring more magical power and keep ahead of Gwen to remain the most powerful sorceress in the world. Thus she's very appreciative toward Gwen and her other enemies, as strange as it sounds.
Despite being a criminal supervillainess, Charmcaster isn't entirely evil. While she's willing to do many deplorable things, she draws the line at flat-out murder and always tries to avoid it in her various crimes. She also possesses a degree of honor when it comes to one-on-one combat, not allowing anyone else to interfere on her behalf. And anyone she does become close to she genuinely cares for and will always support, even though she hides it under her stand-offish attitude and mean-spirited humor, as she doesn't want to appear weak in the eyes of others.
Abilities/Powers: Charmcaster is a sorceress, well-trained in the art of manipulating mana, a special kind of energy. Utilizing the mana that flows around her, which is known as a Mystic Aura, Charmcaster can do many things through speaking the right incantations, which include levitation of objects, movement of the natural elements, flight, and energy blasts. The color of a person's mana as it appears visibly is dependent on their souls. As Charmcaster's soul is not completely good nor is it completely evil, her mana is purple, which is the color created when blue (good soul's mana) and red (evil soul's mana) are mixed.
In addition to natural mana abilities, Charmcaster possesses a special little bag from the dimension she was born in. As a magic bag, it has unlimited space inside it and is thus anything is able to fit despite it's small size. The main component of the bag is a supply of tiny clay stones. When infused with Charmcaster's mana, they can transform into various creatures, such as bats or dogs, who do Charmcaster's bidding.
